Category Three Water Damage In Atlanta Commercial Building
In February of 2020, a category three water damage happened in a commercial apartment building in downtown Atlanta. Our team called this water damage “the Valentine day disaster.” This water damage occurred after a couple had left their apartment and left for their romantic valentine's date. When they returned their lower levels resident confronted them, saying that water started dripping into their living room. When they entered to see what was the cause, they saw that the toilet had been overflowing for the last four hours. When our SERVPRO professionals arrived on site, they looked at the damage. They told the property manager that all damaged materials had to be removed do to the water being highly contaminated. In the after image, you can see all the materials that were destroyed. We are currently in the process of restoring and remodeling the bathroom to look like water damage never occurred.
