Fire Damage – Atlanta Garage
Fire damage struck this Atlanta garage when an elctrical short started a fire in the ceiling area. There was damage to the ceiling of the garage and the roof sheathing. The majority of the ceiling drywall was torn down by the firefighters to make sure there were no remaining burning embers. The fire damaged and demolished building materials would need to be removed and disposed of properly. SERVPRO of West Atlanta / Downtown technicians would dispose of all the materials that could not be restored. That would include drywall, insulation, and roofing material. The pieces of the structure that could be restored would be cleaned with dry ice blasting. This would remove the smoke residues from the building materials and provide a cleaner look to the structure. The process also helps eliminate odors. Once ready the structure would be rebuilt and look like new.
