What Is A Commercial Dehumidifier?

At SERVPRO of Downtown Atlanta, we use commercial dehumidifiers to reduce and maintain the level of humidity in the air. Our dehumidifiers are designed for water damage repair jobs to help extract water from the air. At home, some people like to use small dehumidifiers for comfort reasons or to eliminate musty odor. The difference is that our restoration dehumidifiers can remove 90 pints of water a day in AHAM conditions. One single dehumidifier can cover up to 5500 sq/ft.

So how does it work? 

Air enters through the front of the dehumidifier and goes through a removable filter and then cycles through the system and then exits from the back of the dehumidifier.
